About five hundred visually impaired people living in Bavi district, which is a secluded mountainous area in the suburb of Hanoi, are getting alone everyday with their families’ support. Non-handicapped children of the visually impaired people are missing their opportunity to study at schools due to their poverty. It might be very difficult for them to make their living by working inside their home as well as supporting their handicapped parents. Accordingly the support activities for their sustainable works have been started. Many visually impaired people and non-handicapped people in Bavi district are plaiting long narrow clothes in three strands at their home.
